The journey from Singapore to Australia began in 2015. Our Principal Consultant, Cherie, was granted a subclass 573 student visa and studied her Masters of Professional Accountancy at the University of Tasmania (UTAS). After she completed the course in 2017, she was granted a subclass 485 temporary graduate visa and worked as a Project Officer at UTAS.
Like many of you, Cherie needed to score the required band for PTE prior to applying for subclass 190 skilled nominated visa. Preparing for the battle has never been easy. The toughest part of PTE is that it is not merely testing your English proficiency, but the techniques you have to crack the computer-based test.
3 months from the application submission, Cherie obtained her state sponsorship from Tasmania State Government and the grant of 190 visa from the Department of Home Affairs.
Everyone has the rights to choose the country they want to live in and we should not be bounded by our origins. Helping others find a home in Australia is what inspired Cherie to become a migration professional. She completed her Graduate Diploma in Migration Law and Practice in 2020.
